Is Clackety 3D Builder free to play?

Yes! The app is completely free to download and includes 2 full dioramas (Steam Train and Speedboat Adventure) with zero time limits and complete drive modes. All remaining 8 workshop models and future creative updates can be unlocked via a single, one-time in-app purchase. No recurring subscriptions and no forced video ads. Check your local Google Play or App Store listing for regional pricing.

Can I play without an internet connection?

Yes. The app is designed for offline-first building and play, with your progress saved on your device. An internet connection is needed to download the app, receive updates, or make and restore store purchases. This marketing website also needs an internet connection.

What device do I need?

Play Clackety 3D Builder on Android phones and tablets, iPhones, and iPads. Check Google Play or the App Store for device compatibility and minimum system requirements. Landscape mode gives your bricks room to breathe.

Will there be more models and updates?

We’ll keep refining the workshop with creative updates and improvements. Future creative updates are included in the one-time workshop unlock. Check the app’s release notes for confirmed additions and fixes.

Clackety 3D Builder Privacy Policy

Read our privacy policy

This Privacy Policy applies directly to the Clackety 3D Builder mobile app published by DBX STUDIOS for Android phones and tablets, iPhones, and iPads. It also explains this marketing website and support email separately from offline gameplay. Privacy contact: support@clackety3dbuilder.com.

1. Offline gameplay and information on your device

The game operates offline after installation. DBX STUDIOS does not collect, harvest, transmit, share, or sell personal identifiers, location data, device analytics, or gameplay analytics through the mobile game. We do not request your name, email address, contacts, photos, microphone, or location to play. There is no location tracking, player account system, behavioral advertising, or analytics SDK in the game. Build progress, sound settings, and unlock status are saved locally on your device, rather than in a DBX STUDIOS cloud profile.

Internet access is needed to download the app, receive updates, and make or restore store purchases. When online, the current app may request typefaces from Google Fonts; Google receives ordinary connection information, such as an IP address and request headers, to deliver those files under its own privacy policy. These font requests are separate from offline gameplay and are not DBX STUDIOS device analytics.

2. Free content and optional in-app purchases

The free download includes 2 complete dioramas, Steam Train and Speedboat Adventure, with no time limits and complete drive modes. All remaining 8 workshop models and future creative updates are included in a single, optional, one-time in-app purchase. There are no recurring subscriptions or forced video ads. The relevant store listing shows regional pricing before purchase. Parents or guardians should manage optional purchases.

Optional purchases for the Android release will be securely processed through Google Play In-App Billing. Purchases on iPhone and iPad will use Apple’s App Store in-app purchase system. DBX STUDIOS does not collect, receive, or store credit card numbers, bank account details, or payment credentials. Google and Apple handle payment and store account information under their own privacy policies. Purchase verification and restoration may use a store-issued transaction or entitlement identifier, and the app may save unlock status locally. These identifiers are not used for advertising or device analytics.

3. Children’s privacy, COPPA and Google Play Families Policies

Clackety 3D Builder is designed for players of all ages, including children. DBX STUDIOS is committed to complying with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play Families Policies. Our gameplay privacy approach avoids collecting, using, or sharing children’s personal information. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through gameplay, track their location, or serve behavioral advertising or forced video ads. This commitment also applies when selecting third-party services for the mobile release.

Parents and guardians can contact support@clackety3dbuilder.com about children’s privacy or to request review or deletion of information sent to support. If a child sends us personal information, we will address the report and delete information under our control as appropriate. Read the FTC’s COPPA guidance and Google Play Families Policies for the applicable requirements.

4. This website and support email

This marketing website does not use advertising trackers or analytics. Its hosting provider and the Tailwind CSS CDN (jsDelivr) receive ordinary connection information, such as IP address and browser request data, to deliver the page and styling. These website requests are separate from the mobile app’s offline gameplay. If you email support, we receive your email address and message and use them only to respond and resolve your request. For refund requests, this may include an order number, purchase date, and issue description, used to investigate the request and verify the purchase. Please do not send payment credentials or other sensitive information.

5. Retention, deletion, and security

Local game data stays on your device until you clear the app’s data or uninstall it; device backups are controlled by your operating system. We retain support correspondence only as long as necessary to resolve your request or meet applicable obligations. Email us to request deletion of support messages under our control. We use reasonable safeguards for information we hold; no transmission or storage method is completely secure.

6. Sharing and changes

DBX STUDIOS does not sell personal information. Support information may be handled by our email service provider or disclosed where legally required. If the app’s data practices change, we will update this policy and its effective date before introducing those changes, and provide notice or obtain consent where required.

Refund Policy

In-app purchases, including the full-game unlock in Clackety 3D Builder, are processed securely through the relevant platform store: Google Play for Android and the Apple App Store for iOS.

1. Google Play (Android) Purchases

  • Within 48 Hours of Purchase: You can request a refund directly from Google through your Google Play order history or Google Play support. Follow the Google Play refund request instructions. Eligibility depends on the purchase details and Google’s current policy; a request does not guarantee a refund.
  • After 48 Hours: If you experience technical defects, an undelivered unlock, or an accidental purchase, email the DBX STUDIOS support team at support@clackety3dbuilder.com with your Google Play Order Number (format: GPA.XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXX), purchase date, and a description of the issue. Requests are reviewed and processed on a case-by-case basis under the applicable store policy and consumer law. Please do not send credit card or bank details.

2. Apple App Store (iOS) Purchases

Apple manages transactions, billing, and refund decisions for purchases billed through the Apple App Store. DBX STUDIOS cannot directly issue refunds for these iOS purchases. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in to the Apple Account used for the purchase. Apple determines eligibility under its policies.

Refund eligibility may vary by region and applicable law. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer rights.

Playing Clackety and your license

These terms cover the Clackety 3D Builder mobile app and this marketing website, provided by DBX STUDIOS. You receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to play the app and its digital content on supported devices, subject to applicable law and the relevant app store’s usage rules, including any permitted family-sharing rights. Digital content is licensed for use, rather than ownership of its underlying intellectual property. Children should play and make optional purchases with a parent or guardian’s guidance.

Free builds and optional purchases

The free download includes Steam Train and Speedboat Adventure with no time limits and complete drive modes. A single, optional, one-time in-app purchase unlocks the remaining 8 workshop models and future creative updates. There are no recurring subscriptions or forced video ads. The relevant store displays regional pricing and applicable taxes before you confirm a purchase. Purchases, restoration, refunds, and permitted sharing are subject to the store’s terms and applicable consumer law. An unlock grants the same personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable content license described above; it does not transfer ownership of models, artwork, or code.

Intellectual property and third-party content

Original 3D scene compositions, original UI artwork, branding, and original code created by DBX STUDIOS are proprietary to DBX STUDIOS. Please do not redistribute the app or those materials, or use them commercially, without permission, except where applicable law permits. Third-party libraries, brick specifications, models, music, sound effects, and other credited contributions remain the property of their respective owners and are governed by their own licenses. These terms do not remove rights granted under applicable open-source or asset licenses. See our third-party credits.

Availability and saved progress

Supported devices, features, and availability may change. Progress is saved locally; clearing app data or uninstalling the app can erase it. Updates and store services may require internet access. Future creative updates are included in the unlock when released; we do not promise a particular release schedule.

No warranty

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app, website, and digital content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or suitability for every device. This does not affect mandatory warranties, remedies, or other consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, DBX STUDIOS is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the app, website, or digital content. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, or any liability or consumer right that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
